The Wood-Dale Swim Club Foundation was created in 2019 to help provide access to lessons, exercise and recreation related to swimming for residents of Hopewell and the surrounding community. In 2025, the Wood Dale Swim Team will begin operating under the Wood Dale Swim Club Foundation, in the hopes of increasing the size of the team, and providing opportunities on the team for economically disadvantaged residents.
While the Wood Dale Swim Club requires membership, the Wood Dale Swim Club Team and other activities that will be offered by the foundation are open to the public and do not require membership in the Club.
